Who are these gaming licence applicants?

EDITOR, The Tribune.

I found it incredibly significant that the Prime Minister went to a Family Island constituency to announce that he will nominate for leader of the PLP, a contingent issue. If he wished to continue as Prime Minister - why not R.M. Bailey Park? Was the PLP worried that they would not get the crowd that such an event should pull?

Must say that his comment that he is nominating, because it is of national importance, is so self-serving and presumptuous – time will tell, Mr Prime Minister.

Gaming Licenses - a quarter page advertisement on Friday, September 11, 2015, listed the applicants – incredibly not a comment from anyone, but the applications are exceptionally interesting.

Sebastian Bastian has TWO License applications of which he owns 100 per cent; Craig Flowers had ONE, but he and Ian Hepburn only own 60 per cent with the balance owned by certainly Russian persons, by their names. Other applicants are from BVI, Holland, Nevada, Costa Rica, Malta and Canada.

It certainly would be most interesting for the Gaming Board to expose... explain who are the principals of those license applications, why in their advertisement they are unidentified? Minister Wilchcombe, please oblige.

We have been told that these applicants are the short-listed ones, so please identify the real owners. We do not need to find out the horror story after licenses are given. Mr Minnis sleep again?

I've heard that there are now **millions** of dollars a day being cleaned up using the web shop's unregulated banking transfer/atm system. I wonder if the people responsible for reviewing the web shops books have noticed this recent HUGE increase in deposits and withdrawals (without any gambling taking place)?

I have looked and looked for this quarter page ad listing the web owners and I cannot find it.

I have to think that if this letter were true our news agencies would be all over this.

Therefore I will go on record as saying this letter is a lie and our web shops are not foreign owned....

Because there is no way the Tribune or the Guardian would not report such an outstanding fact to us.

Right?
