Bahamian dies in custody in Haiti

A BAHAMIAN man died in Haiti this week after nearly two years in custody by Haitian authorities, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration.

Christopher Adderley and another Bahamian have been in custody in Port-de-Paix since February 16, 2014, according to the ministry’s statement, which did not indicate the reason for his detention or the enforcement agency involved.

Mr Adderley died on Tuesday, September 22.

Yesterday, Foreign Affairs and Immigration Minister Fred Mitchell declined to provide further details on the matter.

“The Bahamas Foreign Affairs Ministry expresses its condolences to the family of Mr Adderley during this difficult period for them,” the statement added.

Bey he's for Haitian immigrants in Bahamas... not Bahamian criminals in Haiti.

What you should ask is where the people dem who ACTUALLY CLAIM to be for Bahamians? Greenslade had nothing good to say bout Bahamian prisoners (ALIVE) being returned to the Bahamas (from Cuba). Infact, he thinks they 'BELONG' in Cuba. Probably Greenslade (and by extention our Gov't) believes that this person also belongs in Haiti........

Nah you just want hate on Mr.Smith

Where's Fred Smith, Jette Baptist & The Miami Haitian's Picking The Embassy?

If the shoe were on the other foot where a Haitian had died in Bahamian Custody, Fred Smith would be back in Washington protesting before the OAS and petitioning Jesus himself!
