POLICE discovered a quantity of ammunition in bushes at the rear of an apartment complex in the Freeport area on Thursday.
Officers of Operation Turf Sweep made the discovery shortly after 11am after going into bushes behind a complex on Adventurers Way. They found a paint can containing 40 live rounds of 7.62 ammunition, one round of .223 ammunition, and one round of 7.62 magazine.
Inspector Terecita Pinder of Grand Bahama Police said the items were confiscated and no arrest was made. Police are investigating.
