POLICE in Grand Bahama are investigating the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old man in Hanna Hill, Eight Mile Rock, in the early hours of Sunday.

Reports are that shortly after 2am, officers on mobile patrol in Eight Mile Rock heard gunshots and while in the area of Hanna Hill discovered a Dodge van with a male inside with apparent gunshot wounds about body.

The victim was transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital where he later died.
