AS of February 19 all handwritten Bahamas passports will be cancelled and become null and void, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised yesterday.

All those in possession of those passports should immediately surrender them and obtain an electronic passport, a statement from the ministry said.

The ministry said it issued public notices about this last year.
