POLICE are on the hunt for the person or persons responsible for stealing a Honda Terino late Sunday night with a six-month-old baby strapped in the backseat.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Stephen Dean said shortly after the car was stolen, the baby was “dropped off” in front of a home in Pinewood Gardens, unharmed.
“According to reports, a man and a woman left the baby asleep in the running car while in the Carmichael Road area,” ACP Dean said.
“When they went back to the vehicle it was gone. They called the police and a short while later the baby was discovered on the porch of a home near Mount Tabor (Church). The baby is fine and was returned to the parents.”
Police have not located the car or the suspects responsible.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 911 or 919, the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 328-TIPS.

The only person who should be arrested is the parents!! The criminals are better parents than the idiots that leave the baby in a car..

Firstly, thank God the baby was returned safely. Secondly you left a HONDA running in Nassau? Thirdly and most importantly both parents left the baby in the car instead of one parent staying inside? I am flabbergasted. WOW!
