GRAND Bahama police made more than a dozen arrests early this week in Freeport, including the arrest of a man who is wanted for murder.
Inspector Terecita Pinder reported that officers conducted Operation Turf Sweep on Monday in the Freeport area where 11 persons were arrested for various offences, including possession of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs with intent to supply, deceit of a peace officer and breach of the Gaming and Lottery act.
On Tuesday, she said officers of Operation Turf Sweep discovered a .380 pistol with two live rounds of ammunition.
They also arrested a 21-year-old male resident of Frobisher Drive who is wanted for questioning in connection with a murder.
