A MAN who was shot in Grand Bahama on New Year’s Day was treated and discharged by doctors at the Rand Memorial Hospital, according to police.

Inspector Terecita Pinder reported that a man was brought to the hospital in a private vehicle suffering from a gunshot injury in his leg. He told police that another man had shot him.

Investigations are continuing.
