Six arrests after marijuana discovery

GRAND Bahama police arrested six men – four Bahamians and two Jamaican nationals – following discovery of illegal drugs at a residence on that island.

Inspector Terecita Pinder reported that Drug Enforcement Unit officers executed a search warrant shortly after 4pm on Wednesday at a home in the Freeport area, where they found a quantity of suspected marijuana.

As a result, six men were taken into custody.

Investigations are continuing into the matter.
