POLICE have launched a manhunt in New Providence for those responsible for two shooting incidents that left a man and a woman detained in hospital on Friday night.

Around 10pm, a woman was inside her home on Wilton Street, when someone fired several shots at her. The woman was rushed to hospital where she is in stable condition.

A few minutes later, several men with firearms fired several shots at a white vehicle in the area of Blue Hill Road and Wellington Street that resulted in a man standing there being shot. He was rushed to hospital where he is detained in stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing in both incidents.
