Wow it's such a horrible thing to do!! How dare he come to the Bahamas and have marijuana in his possession!! What evil he brings us. If tourists like him didn't do this awful thing we would have no problems with marijuana!! War on drugs is a joke if you are in USA or the Bahamas!! Get real people.

Why are small amounts of marijuana for personal use even illegal? What a travesty of "free will" human dignity. When will we allow people to make their own choices and live their own lives?

Was he arrested for dangerous drugs OR marijuana? It cannot be both as marijuana is not a dangerous drug. We need to stop this absurd law of going to jail for a joint. The worst punishment for possession of a joint should be the police destroying the joint.

I'm sure they did. It took them approximately ten minutes, and they used a match to get the process of destruction started...

Bout dangerous drug.....
Legalize weed now. It is a benign drug. Liquor is more dangerous. There is no such thing as being inebriated from weed.
Legalize this gift from God now.....

The criminalization of marijuana during the 1920s has created the biggest market in the world for the Mafia ......... if the US government saw fit to de-criminalize alcohol in 1932, why is it that cultivation, processing and consumption of marijuana has remained a crime .... despite the far worse effects of alcohol and tobacco on the American society and economy???? ........ The Mafia ........... the other psychotropic drugs (cocaine, heroin, meth etc) should be banned for obvious reasons, but marijuana is internationally used by most cultures for health/religious reasons ............ the US medical marijuana argument is a sham
