FOUR women and two men were arrested in Grand Bahama on Monday after marijuana and cash were seized from a home.

According to police, officers of Operation Turf Sweep executed a search warrant at a home on Winchester Circle, where the drugs and cash were allegedly discovered.

Police in Grand Bahama also said a man was arrested around 2pm on Monday after officers of the Lucaya Division executed a search warrant at a residence on Amberjack Street. Police found an assortment of alcoholic beverages, soft drinks and snacks.

Further investigation revealed that the occupant did not possess a business license. A man was arrested and his items were seized.

The suspects are expected to be arraigned in Magistrate’s Court later this week.
