OFFICERS attached to 'Operation Turf Sweep' seized packages of suspected marijuana and arrested three people at a residence in the Freeport area.
According to police reports, a search warrant was executed on Thursday at a home on Bass Lane where the drugs were allegedly found and three male occupants were taken into custody.
On the same day, officers acting on information went to an area of Kennedy Drive and discovered a 9mm pistol, with an empty magazine clip, in an abandoned vehicle.
No arrest was made in this matter and investigations are continuing.
