A MAN was arrested on Tuesday for drug possession, police said.

Officers from the Selective Enforcement Unit were on routine patrol when they approached a man walking in the area who was acting suspiciously.

The officers conducted a search of the man and found 21 foil wraps with marijuana in his possession, police said.

Police are also searching for two men armed with handguns who robbed a convenience store in the Fort Fincastle area shortly after noon on Tuesday.

The men fled the area on foot. Investigations are continuing.
