EDITOR, The Tribune.
There is always a battle between a man’s pride and his position in life. Some of the most successful people are so because they have found a balance between their position in life and their pride.
The Chairman of the FNM has proven to neither let position, pride or place in society stop him from his mission to help heal our land.
Anyone you ask about the current state of affairs in our country the answers are so similar they’re shocking. To sum it up in one word...bleak.
Senator Pintard is working on the streets behind the scenes to help bring balance and restore order as crime is the country’s number one problem. He has been seen working the street boys, the leaders, the “known” trigger men all in an attempt to bring some level of normalcy to a Bahamian day where a murder is almost expected daily. Have there been people before him that have tried...sure. I salute brother Khalfani, young Bostwick, Terry Delancey, Scouge and others.
Mr Pintard is working below the street lights with no camera or news station in sight to help heal our land. So it’s sad that some members of government are now criticising him for working with people who had problems with the law or those who looking to get out of a life of crime.
So I say cheers to him and his team in the efforts they are doing without recognition as he puts his position to the side, all for the Bahamian people. Minnis inner city plan will work with men like Pintard, Bostwick and Frankie Campbell.
