AN AMERICAN couple have been arrested for possession of unlicenced firearms and ammunition found at a residence in the upscale subdivision of Fortune Bay, Grand Bahama.
Police, acting on information, went to the residence around 8pm on Thursday and discovered a 7.62 rifle with 75 rounds of ammunition and a black and chrome Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun with 21 shotgun shells.
A man and woman were arrested and taken into police custody. The couple are expected to be formally arraigned early next week in the Freeport Magistrate’s Court.
