A PASSENGER died and a driver was taken to hospital after a traffic accident on JFK Drive near Westridge on Saturday afternoon.
Officers from the Police Traffic Department reported that shortly after 5pm, a man was travelling east on JFK Drive near Westridge in a 1997 Geo Tracker Jeep along with a male passenger, when he collided with a signage post. He lost control of his vehicle, which flipped over crashing into another signage post.
The passenger was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver was taken to hospital where his condition is listed as stable.
