No progress in investigation of Toggie and Bobo claims

THE Royal Bahamas Police Force’s investigation into allegations that Lyford Cay resident Peter Nygard orchestrated a murderous plot against his billionaire neighbour Louis Bacon and lawyer Fred Smith, QC, “is not going anywhere,” Police Commissioner Ellison Greenslade said yesterday.

Although the allegations were contained in the hundreds of pages of affidavits filed by directors of Save the Bays last March, those making the claims never made an official complaint with the RBPF, the police chief said.

“No one has given us a complaint against those two men on record,” Commissioner Greenslade said, referring to Wisler “Bobo” Davilma and Livingston “Toggie” Bullard, the two men who were allegedly hired by Mr Nygard to engage in criminal activities.

“We’ve had those men in for questioning,” he said, referring to their arrest and subsequent release last year. “We’ve had no complaints against them. What do you like me to do? I found nothing with them in our discussions regarding criminal behaviour that we have any knowledge about. Those are issues I suspect you’ll hear about again in some other arenas, arenas that police don’t meddle in.

“We have another group that is everywhere telling the world they are in fear, the harm that’s going to happen to them, but no complaint,” Commissioner Greenslade added, likely referring to Mr Smith and other members of the Grand Bahama Human Rights Association, who sent a petition last year to the Inter American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) requesting that the Bahamas adopt precautionary measures to prevent irreparable harm from coming to their lives.

Commissioner Greenslade said: “When we attempt to see them, they duck us. I directed my chief of detectives to see an alleged complainant and we can’t find him. We come through the front door he goes through the back. This is true. We’re playing games. If you have a complaint, members of the public and you report it we will take a statement from you. If your statement is erroneous there’s a charge for it. And that is maybe why some people don’t give a complaint because if we write it down and you lie we gon’ charge you. If I write it down and you’re found to be lying we will charge you.”

As part of the “Bobo” and “Toggie” affair, it was also alleged in court documents that an investigator, former FBI agent John DiPaolo, was hired by Save the Bahamas to uncover the alleged murder-for-hire plot.

Concerns were expressed by officials that Mr DiPaolo lacked a work permit to conduct his investigations.

Commissioner Greenslade said yesterday that he is “not sure if (Mr DiPaolo)” actually came to the Bahamas.

“I formally made an inquiry with our international partners based upon the allegation we received of some foreign person coming to the Bahamas and I never received a response,” he said.

I told you the RBPF is bought and paid for by the PLP mafia. They control the murders, drug trade, and the crime, it keeps the people oppressed just where they want you to be. I truly fear for Mr. Henfield now, he'll be lucky to make it to the 2017 elections without disappearing.

Comrade Policeman's Chief, says ten months after he had announced his policeman's were probing matters related to an alleged 'murder plot' targeting members of the Save The Bays (STB), that the probe is 'not going anywhere’.
The Commish wants public knows that a ‘certain complainant’ involved in the court matter "ducked' his policeman's, when they sought question him - himself as Commish questioning whether games are being played. (I thinks the Commish was trying say the man’s is playing’ hide and seek games with his policeman's?
He said, ‘Listen to the Commish’.... When policeman’s attempt sees them, they duck from us. When my Chief of Detectives, gone to see an alleged complainant, and we can't find him. When Chief Detectives come through the front door, he goes through the back door?
I knows this is serious policeman's business...but you just couldn't have made this 'ducking out back' funny up.
Look Commish, I ain't professing be no Commish, or Chief of Detectives - but have you ever thought you know what… Why not also at same time, station some policeman's at man’s backs door?
There’s also the possibility that even before your Chief Detectives, went through the front door – he was already gone out the front door?
I would have thought the entire complainants list on the court documents are not exactly low profile individuals. In fact, some you wouldn’t exactly describe as persons - who just happen have an occasional random encounter with the media…. More like they’d become infatuated with seeing themselves in and on the various media outlets?

Comrdes all we got go on is what the Commish is saying – so who would’ve thought that since those on the court documents list -consists some pretty high profile individuals that just about anybody could have easily looked-up in phone book for their telephone numbers and called to set up a appointment to see them – meeting with them shouldn’t been so difficult… But who knows if they might not have successfully avoided the Commish’s policeman’s – by being were placed in some kinds Lyford Cay Protection Program?
My Dear Comrades, I hope you too is laughing at mere thought them ducking from Chief Detectives - out back door... or maybe the Commish, meant say it was out the back window they ducked?

How convenient birdie, they are accusing the PLP's boyfriend Peter Nygard of trying to harm them and so obviously it must all be a lie. Nevermind those KKK rallies and so on. Do you actually realize how stupid you sound? Why would they, or anyone else, be "trying their best to cause trouble for the Bahamas"? Just for fun?

The Outspoken QC and his boy Joe are only looking for attention. No one is trying to harm them and they know this. They have not sat down with the police and made a formal complaint. Because there is none. So many persons have been hurt in this Country. every
day. yet these men try to bring attention to themselves.
