EDITOR, The Tribune.
Please allow me to address a brief letter to Mr Christie in response to your interview with him:
Dear Hon Perry Gladstone Christie,
Apparently, you have not yet fully awakened from your post-election stupor.
• You left $300 to $400m of unpaid bills (perhaps more)
• You collected in excess of $1 billion dollars in VAT, over and above normal revenue
• You increased the national debt by over a billion dollars
• You oversaw a 0% economic growth rate for the country over the last five years
• You bloated the civil service
• You took our country through four international credit agency downgrades
• You mention “leading the government”? You sir, have always “lead” from behind” I could go on and on.
Please wake up and go quietly into retirement and let history judge your performance.
DAVID LUNN

I was going to say "What we need from Christie is one more stroke" but that would be mean, so I won't say it.
