A pathologist will determine the exact cause of death.

Police believe the man had been alone since this morning and residents of the home found his body in the evening.

An employee, who was described as suicidal, stole a plane similar to the Turbo Props that Bahamasair flies. After putting on an ‘air show ‘ flying upside at one point. And describing to the control tower what he was doing.he crashes the plane 40 miles from the Washington airport. How could this happen?Q400 craft

Before crashing the plane on a remote island, the victim apologized for his actions, saying he knows a lot of people will be disappointed by his actions. He then describes himself as ‘a broken guy with a few screws loose.’ And (unfortunately) he didn’t realize it til now. He then crashed the plane.

That's why today,we experience the PRESENCE OF HUGE AMOUNTS OF SANDILAND'S PATIENTS ON THE STREETS. More kind of patients outside than inside. That's unacceptable.! Suicide is never a private matter. Simply because it leaves so many victims behind. Some feeling guilty, some taking the blame, many in shock and disbelief and others who may never understand why. In the case of the pilot who took the 76 seater aircraft into the air and performed a series of acts even at some points flying the aircraft upside down even to the disbelief of professionals in the airline industry, his intention, maybe at first was to only get attention...it was fun at the beginning as he announced exactly what he was going to do in his next stunt. Then as reality set in, with two fighter jets on his trail, he realized the magnitude of his actions and the probable consequences. And he announced over the planes radio, "this may mean the rest of my life in jail" And he admitted he realized he was "a troubled guy, with some screws loose.' And then he said, "one more (stunt) and he will take her down into the ground. And he did exactly that, nosedived the plane into the ground resulting in a fiery crash. Authorities still are not sure how he learned to fly the plane and with such skill. As for the man who stepped quietly into his bedroom closet and hung himself.. how many Bahamians are just one closet door from doing similar actions. Feeling burdened and overcome by life's challenges and unable to dodge the firey darts only trying to survive..Emotionally painful and tormenting. Experts say suicide is a demonic spirit that attacks a person even as they sleep. And if in a single moment of weakness they give in, then we ask that the souls of these men rest in peace.

John says...

"What do you say to a man who constantly battles feelings of inferiority, thoughts of suicide, or habitually hearing voices telling him he's a loser who will never measure up as a husband, dad, son, or child of God?

He tells you he's prayed, fasted, memorized Scripture, and studied his Bible, but the ideas, accusations, and voices never release their paralyzing grip, at least not for very long.

Do you tell him he just needs rest? That it's a chemical imbalance? Do you assume he's schizophrenic because he says there are voices in his head? Or might this battle be something more than physiological or psychological?

"Karl, do you think this could be demonic?" I've heard this question so many times I no longer presume the person speaking is neurotic or weak willed. This initial question is often followed by "Now I don't want you to think I am crazy" or "I'm afraid you won't believe me, but …" or "I've never told anyone about this, but I assure you I am not making this up." I've heard this from the churched and unchurched, from those in the pew and those who fill the pulpit.

What would you say to a pastor, for instance, who flies to your city to discuss demonization, indicating that his mind is being consumed with thoughts and images of his wife having sex with other men? It is not true, and he knows it. But the incessant mind games are not only personally debilitating emotionally and physically to him, they are in the process of destroying his marriage, family, and ministry.

Do you tell him to read his Bible? Well, he studies his Bible and memorizes Scripture, and he has written more theological books than most Christians have read. Do you tell him that he just needs to be more disciplined in his thinking?

Or might he be demonized?

Over the last 30 years, I have worked with hundreds of Christians across the denominational and non-denominational spectrum who are tormented by spirits they have not been able to remove on their own"Removing Demonic Oppression
Steps to freeing those under the unwanted influence.

The Bible teaches about poverty and its effects on people. To write or speak
about a spirit of poverty does not fall into the arena of prosperity teaching. A
spirit of poverty has nothing to do with how much anyone owns, what they eat or
wear. A spirit of poverty can oppress, and not infrequently does, wealthy people.

Oh boy...too much, waaaayyy too much. the way to win people is not to shove the bible down their throat. That's not the way Jesus did it. He met them where they were, he fed them if they were hungry, healed them if they were sick, I.e. He met the physical needs that consumed them before he addressed spiritual needs. when they ASKED him how to change then he preached the gospel to them. Some accepted and some didn't. Beating people over the head with scripture and telling them how evil they are never works.

The best and most simple solution for people obsessed or consumed by depression or thoughts of suicide is communicating and interacting with others. Interrupt the thought process and the overthinking. Studies show that even on college campuses. one third of students are affected by some mental disorder . These include stress, anxiety, loneliness, depression, feelings of competitiveness or inferiority and fear mostly of failing college or becoming overwhelmed.

John is about to steal a boat & ram it into the devil's backbone if somebody doesn't watch him. Either way, the rise in suicide is of course appalling but we have to recognize how the various problems in the country affect the citizens. The poor & those who are trying to stay afloat. One doesn't simply take their life out of the blue, it is a thought about thing that develops in the mind over a span of time and depending on ones situation in life, it may finally lead them down that black hole. The people these days have it very hard. The hotel and government jobs can only provide so much, but without the education & training COMBINED with experience, the common Bahamian will not be able to survive in the years to come. Some had good jobs, invested/took out loans, lost the job due to some bogus layoff, could not keep up with investments, now running from the bank & court system, and now running to suicide as a way out (this is just one out of many examples). The economy is too fragile. The people dont know what to do. High taxes, little to no income a recipe for disaster.

In the field of psychology, the Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which people of low ability have illusory superiority and mistakenly assess their cognitive ability as greater than it is. The cognitive bias of illusory superiority comes from the inability of low-ability people to recognize their lack of ability; without the self-awareness of metacognition, low-ability people cannot objectively evaluate their actual competence or incompetence. On the other hand, people of high ability incorrectly assume that tasks that are easy for them are also easy for other people.

John hold your ground. . .the ignorant usually attack what they cannot intellectually refute!! They ripping on you but skipping your information. . .they are being polemicists because as Donning and Kruger polls. . . their meta-cognition skills are low. . .
