Grand Bahama police arrested three men after suspected marijuana was discovered at a residence in Freeport on Wednesday evening.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Terecita Pinder reported that shortly after 6pm officers of the Drug Enforcement Unit and Rapid Response executed a search warrant at a residence on Redwood Lane.
During a search, officers found three packages of suspected marijuana with an estimated street value of $8,000, and a large amount of cash in US and Bahamian currency.
As a result, three male occupants were arrested and taken into police custody.
Ms Pinder said police are continuing their investigations into the matter.
