What they need to start doing is escorting them right back to Haiti one shot. Then when they arrive confiscate and sink the boat in deep water before heading back to The Bahamas.

This is a perpetual episode between securities institutions (RBDF,RBPF,Immigration & informants) and illegal immigrants who sneak in here illegally with the monitoring, support, sponsoring or supervision of the ones also illegal who live here for several decades without being regularized by the official authorities subsequently creating an environment of poverty, insalubrity, insanaty, shanties towns, juvenile or young adults criminals who, under the conditions of being illegal, socially excluded, don't have other choices than being bad, hostile perpetrators products of the environment where they grew up: shantie town.
The only fear solution to all of the above, not only locally but globally is : To fusion all lands or countries(except private property)to allow all humanbeing to move around the world as they wish without visa but enough by being humans with the sublime right to move around public areas except private properties without the owners consent or permission, that would be the only place in the world for immigrants to be illegal.
That would be the greatest solution of the century to that humanity problem when absolutely everyone will start to learn to appreciate and respect others people language, culture, religion, color of their skin & sexual orientation

Would not work, because the situation in some places are so desperate and opportunities non existent, your country would not survive the deluge of entrants.

Without question, Haitians are no longer illegally migrating to the Dominican Republic!
Until the Bahamas learns from the Dominican Republic playbook, Haitians will continue flooding into our country.
Haitians are not "civil people" and do not understand or respond to "civil laws". They are a hardened uncivilized people that can only comprehend brut force as demonstrated by the way Haitian and Dominican law enforcement treat them!
Until the Bahamas learns to ignore the bleeding hearts humans rights groups and the U.N. **who do not foot the bills or suffer any negative effects of these people** and stop pussyfooting around with Haitians as the Dominican Republic was forced to do, Haitians will continue coming here illegally, because as far as Haitians are concerned, there are no negative consequences of NOT coming here.
**The Dominicans have set a precedent that worked!** How difficult can it be for the Bahamas to follow that precedent?

They are not Haitians, they were all born in the Bahamas. Just out on a midnight boat cruise, no law against that.

That is exactly what the white supremacist says about black people. The Dominican solution wouldn't work in the Bahamas because it is base solely on race. if you are black you are Haitian, if you are white or whitish you are Dominican. That is the reason why you have the most recognize Dominican in the form of Sammy Sosa bleaching his skin.

The Bahamian conditioning does not allow for mass massacares.
The road to equal rights was peaceful, and many give credit to a a group within the PLP for the peaceful transition. No civil war.
The wheels of industry will always seek cheap labour. The majority of the population are workers .......unless you own the business you are a worker....with owners of businesses from whom thepolitical decision makers are political leaders and core party members are made up whether they are bay street boys or others.,,,.......
......Policies are therefore unlikely to be created to hinder using cheap sources of labour, why shoot yrself in the foot?b......but rather enforce integration of continuing supply from unskilled to become skilled for growth of businesses. Govt
Likely progression will be appeasement policies to illegals to be citizens, businesses will thrive.....
Eventually the Bahamas will become a dual language nation, all signs, govt materual will become dual language.
Given 12 million Haitians 30 miles from the southern borders it is inevitable......... Looking at the trajectory little or no enforcement of existing laws harbouring of illegals, or fraud..etcetc. and Bahamians refusing to return home, children from families with financial resources........

In the US the illegal immigration from Haiti and Mexico and other countries has decreased under Donald Trump. Immigrants are afraid to enter the US, but because of the poor conditions in Haiti, they are still coming here. And if the protection of our boarders is lax where they can say l right in and then the processing time to get them back to Haiti then maybe there needs to be a stronger deterrent put in place. Jail time maybe for first offenders, hard labor for second labor and maybe lashes for constant repeat offenders and human traffickers. Tough times require tough measures.

Apart from the increased secutoty on US borders we have seen more seizures of illegal drugs in the Bahamas.

Actually 'illegal drugs' needs to be redefined. Mainly because Marijuana is legal in some form or another in at lest 30 percent of the states in the US as well as Canada and other countries. So in short order an international body must conclave and redefine marijuana as not being an illegal and dangerous. One cannot be selling and consuming a substance in their homes and arresting and jailing other persons for using it.

This is something the WTO aims to accomplish..the free movement of goods and service as well as persons across boarders. Then there are those who are pushing for a 'new world order' or a one world system o government. Of course you should know who will be in charge of this one world system.
