BIMINI police discovered a quantity of dangerous drugs on the island this week, a senior police official reported.
Supt Walter Henderson said officers acting on information went to an area in Alice Town, South Bimini shortly after 10am on Wednesday where they found suspected marijuana.
The drugs, which had a weight of two pounds, four ounces, has an estimated street value of $2,300.
No arrest was made in the matter and investigations are continuing.
