Centenarian enjoys Bahamas vacation

After having reached the grand old age of 100 years, American visitor Gussie Taylor-Dennis would not be deterred from enjoying a fun-packed vacation in the Bahamas. She was in Nassau last week as a guest of former Deputy Prime Minister Cynthia "Mother" Pratt. During her stay, she was hosted by Breezes Bahamas, where, though she might not have been able to enjoy all of the many activities the resort has to offer, she was seen dancing up a storm to soca beats.

Mrs Taylor-Dennis was born in 1917 and hails from North Carolina. She was in town with her daughter, niece and other family members. Her sister, who is 95, also made the trip. She will celebrate her 101st birthday in August and she promises to come back to Nassau to commemorate this very special occasion.
