Family Guardian Insurance, Barracuda Swim Club team up for the 32nd consecutive year

FOR the past 32 years Family Guardian has supported the Barracuda Swim Club and once again the swim club is scheduled to host the 32nd Annual Family Guardian Invitational at the Betty Kelly-Kenning Aquatics Center and Open Water Swim at Long Wharf on November 10-11 respectively.

"Family Guardian is proud to partner with The Barracuda Swim Club for the 32nd year," according to a press release.

"Barracuda Swim Club has a long history of excellence in producing some our nation's greatest citizens as they excel both in and out of the pool" said Mr Andre White, assistant vice president of investments at Family Guardian. "Discipline, character, humility and excellence is what comes to mind as we reflect on the many years of our partnership with the Barracuda Swim Club and today is no exception with the fine young persons who we see representing their club here today."

"Family Guardian's commitment to the youth of our nation is unmatched with their 32-year consecutive partnership with our club. We are a non-profit organisation where our focus is on the development of the whole athlete and we could not do it without the support of Family Guardian, to whom we are most grateful," said Mrs Philice Albury, president of the club. "We look forward to this continued relationship and support as we work together to advance the sport of swimming throughout The Bahamas".

Swimming is an activity that helps children to excel both in and out of the pool as it cultivates discipline, passion and commitment.

On hand for the presentation were a few of the club swimmers Devin Cuffy-Bethel, Grace Farrington, Reis Knowles and Hodari Prince. The swimmers collectively thanked Family Guardian for their commitment to the Barracuda Swim Club and the swimming community at large.

Presenting the cheque on behalf of Family Guardian was Mr Andre White, assistant vice president of investments.
