I store water for the period of power outage.
I bought a gas stove.

I keep a battery pack for charging my devices ready. I download Netflix shows for being off WiFi. I have also scouted places to hang out that have AC, WiFi and a generator. I fill my car's gas every week because chances are I will spend many hours in it sleeping to escape the heat. My 3 year old son is trained to collect certain items the instant power goes off to leave the house. I turn off breakers to my AC units to avoid damage when the power comes back on. I post funny BPL videos to laugh and protect my sanity.

We have a generator but need to replace fridge, pool pump, water pump, microwave and TV due to brownouts and spikes. The neighbours are using our genny's power cords so they can work from home.
We can endure ok, but there are some that have died and the morgus can't keep the bodies cold.

It is unforgivable that this is happening in 2019, all because of past and present governments corruption, is killing us all and destroying our way of life. We need to jail those that caused this sell their house, freeze their assets, get the money back.
