ON Saturday, the Bahamas Flag Football League will commence its 4th season of youth flag football at the Thomas A Robinson Stadium, using the exterior fields.

The season will run from 1 to 4pm on Saturdays - August 24 to November 16 - and will cater to teaching the fundamentals of American football to boys and girls between the ages of six and 17 years.

“We are very excited as we head into our 4th season,” said league president Jayson Clarke.

“We just concluded a successful summer camp and with that momentum, we will kick off our season this Saturday with much anticipation.

“We have seen our youth programme grow over the last few years and have hosted Youth Flag Football Nationals against Abaco.

“This year, our plans include competing at the Flag Football World Championships being held in Orlando in January 2020.
