THE Basketball Scholastic Athletic Association’s 2019 Holiday Classic got started on Saturday at the Hope Centre basketball courts.

Junior Girls

St John’s College defeated Freedom Baptist Academy 13-7

Junior Boys

Jordan Prince William defeated Anatol Rodgers High School 40-29.

Tayshawn Wallace scored a game high 13 points in the win. Dereck Edgecombe had eight in a losing effort.

Teleos Christian School defeated Freedom Baptist Academy 25-18.

Michael Albury was the higher scorer for the winners with nine points.

Deonte Johnson matched the nine points in a losing effort.

Teleos Christian School defeated Anatol Rodgers High School 36-23.

Michael Albury scored 14 in the win, while Terry Duncombe had nine in the loss.

The games will continue on at 4pm today at the Hope Center.
