SUNDAY MORNING UPDATE: Shortly after 7am on Sunday, Shavard Bain was dropped off at a wash house on Joe Farmington Road and Fox Hill Road. He is in police care and has been taken to hospital for a routine examination. He has no visible injuries.
Police are investigating the abduction of a three-year-old boy from outside his home in South Beach Estates early on Saturday evening.
According to reports, shortly before 6pm, Shavar Bain was taken off his bicycle by two women. They put the boy inside their silver vehicle before speeding off.
He was wearing a blue Spider-Man shirt, brown pants and black shoes.
Police are asking anyone with information that can assist in locating Shavar Bain to contact Crime Stoppers at 328-TIPS (8477), the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991/2 or the nearest police station.
