Are there are not competent police officers on the whole of Eleuthera who can investigate the acccident?

Well, maybe, maybe not ... but one wonders how much investigation this requires: 5 a.m., driver lost control and hit a tree. The woman who survived and fortunately suffered only minor injuries can pretty much tell the tale. Tragic, but it’s hardly a situation that cries out for Sherlock Holmes.

For that, they could simply talk with the woman who survived — she would know a lot more of what happened than any “investigator” from Nassau. SMH, indeed.

I think the survivor of that accident can tell the local police what happened for closure but I guess tou feel that Scotland Yard has to investigate who WAS NOT THERE to get closure !!! Wake up and smell the stupid shit you are babbling about !!!

Are the Police in our Family of Islands so stupid that they can't investigate and draw a conclusion as to happened here ? The Police from Nassau would wrap that investigation up within 3-4 minutes then head to the bar until the next flight out !!!

Indeed. There was only one car involved. Its driver is deceased, so even if he did something wrong you can’t charge him with a crime— tho under “Nassau logic,” I suppose they could try. I think the Eleuthera officers are capable of wrapping this up.

I guess, those officers investigators just want to use this opportunity to have a free trip, hotel, rent car and little cash to move around eventhough such accident happened by the local airport. People senses a waist of resources in moving around those officers for something that could be,very well solved,by local investigators already in the Island. That unnecessary maneuver is very costly and the money spent on that could be used to add staffs to the Road Traffic Department so they don't take so unbelievable time to come to the scene of an accident. It's time for public administration to stop "walking on their brain".
