POLICE arrested a man on Wednesday after he was found in possession of an illegal firearm and ammunition.

According to reports, shortly after 9pm, Mobile Division officers, while at Isabella Drive in Marathon Estate, conducted a search of the male and recovered a .40 pistol and 13 rounds of ammunition.
