So has this party got a government permit?

Here we go again

EDITOR, The Tribune.

The social media page advertises the event as “bare naked – The ultimate summer pool party.

The entertainment is by enigmacarnival it seems.

The Tickets are $25.00 for General Admission and $50.00 VIP.

Contact is EnigmaBahamaCarnival@GMAIL.com

The date is Sunday, June 30th @ 4:00pm.

The Location : Sassoon Mansion ????????

Lovely, if that’s what floats your boat, but Sassoon Drive is a road in the Winton Heights subdivision and when last I checked it is a residential Non-Commercial single-family development.

The flyer does not give a house number but simply says “Sassoon Mansion”.There are many mansions along this road but the Tallest Mansion belongs to one of our former Members of Parliament.

The last such party at this Sassoon Mansion ended in a gunfight out on Sassoon Drive.

Fox Hill Police have been asked about the legality of a commercial event in a residential neighbourhood, so let’s see what happens. I can’t imagine that a Government Permit has been granted for such an event, particularly in a residential neighbourhood.

So owning a mansion in the Bahamas, gives you no benefits whatsoever? You cant even have a party once a year? People are used to being in fear of their lives on a daily basis at any point in Nassau - from gunshots. At least here you will know the date and time. Stay off the street that night. Wow. Some of you people seem like you just want to crawl up inside a church and die. Live while you are alive. Jesus lived as a man while he was among us (but those parts of the Bible were excluded from the chosen 66 books). Oh well. It doesn't really matter Death awaits us all.
