The majority of crime is carried out by a Bahamian male. They say we need to rescue our boys, yet The college Of The Bahamas just increased its fees for the young black Bahamian male to attend. How are you going to encourage young men to attend college when it is realistically financially out of reach? We need to make college affordable for the young Bahamian male to attend. Let us do like the night clubs, let the ladies in for free and charge the men who follow. So, don't charge the Bahamian male to attend college but charge the Bahamian female..

Respectfully ... I don’t think the kinda guys who would open fire on a group of people standing by the side of the street are exactly college material. I really doubt that their savagery stems from a lack of opportunity for a college education.

First of all, there should be a wish inculcated to aspire to higher learning. If there is no stabilisation in their reasoning and reactive responses, there will be no improvement. We are becoming like so many other desperate countries where the act of sexual communion is not one of anything but momentary attraction and the result is a child born without a name or number. Father's Day can be a most difficult time for mother and child. We have to do better. We are not South Saharan or South Indian progeny. Some have to realise that they have futures, even if not wanted!

Suggestions would be welcomed. Do you have any with constructive possible outcomes or we going to become a new little Haiti or South Africa or Jamaica where these little unwanted things over rule the world with their hatred and lack of education or understanding? We can't be going back to the black bush naivitey

What’s wrong with Jamaica? I can walk down the street there and no one bothers me. They are happy and have available employment. My daughter made a great friend there. They even talk on the phone. It’s not crime free, but nowhere is. Blue Mountain coffee is wonderful. It’s a great export.
