Just in case you are unaware. Trump DID NOT WIN the last election. He actually LOST by three million votes to Hillary. He used the excuse that three million illegal aliens voted illegally without providing any proof! Trump is very loose with facts and wouldn't know the truth if it bit him on his rear end. The Christianists love this liar and think that he was appointed by God himself. You see, the U.S. is not really a democracy because they have this stupid thing called the electoral college. The American voters don't vote for a President, they vote for electoral representatives instead. In a real democracy, the one with the most votes wins but not in the U.S. As for Trump's phone conversation with "another leader," Trump used this "conversation" to get that leader to get information on a political rival and actually delayed monetary aid to that country which had already been authorized by Congress. Trump thinks like a dictator and does NOT have the authority to ignore Congress. Trump has broken so many laws that it is amazing that it took this long to start impeachment proceedings. We can start with all the money Trump's family and himself have made off of Trump's Presidency which is again, against the law. That is just for starters! He has committed a litany of crimes while in office and is about to find out that he is NOT above the law! The only problem with this impeachment is that if it is successful the U.S. will have Pence as President. He is another Republican lunatic who wants to turn the U.S. into a theocracy eliminating the separation of church and state. When Trump goes. either through impeachment or the next election,the world will become a safer place! If you watch Trump on TV lately, he is looking like a raging lunatic. His departure can't happen soon enough!

In the USA one becomes president by winning the electoral college NOT the popular vote. This means Trump WON the 2016 election regardless of individual opinions!

Like it or not he is the president. The charges against him are baseless and have no basis in law or fact as you will soon learn. Contributions to his presidential campaign have increased since "impeachment " investigations have started and ultimately the American people will decide who will be their next president, NOT Bahamians. But do most posting here know how little the Obama administration ended up doing for Haiti in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake compared to how much the Trump administration has done so far for The Bahamas in the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian? I suspect not.

Sadly most Bahamians still have difficulty accepting that the very unorthodox Trump was elected to be a disruptor of the failed status quo in U.S. politics and U.S. foreign policy.
