The government has made an amendment to its Emergency Powers (COVID-19) Regulations, requiring anyone leaving their residence to wear a mask.
“Every person who leaves his residence in accordance with the provisions of this order and any exemption granted hereunder, shall wear a mask covering his nose and mouth while away from his residence,” the amendment said. “An exempted business or undertaking may deny entry to any person not wearing a mask covering his nose and mouth.”

So is the government providing masks to people now? Are they available? Now there will be a mad rush for those. Keep it up. Every now order just creates further chaos.
This is getting out of hand though. Always some amendment after the first announcement. Can't make this up no more.

knew this was happening from the minute he said he was giving money to seamstresses. preparation for the *noone should have an excuse because I gave money to seamstresses* argument. But I was still fooled again. I didn't expect him to make it mandatory 2 days after he made the money to seamstresses announcement. They are still out of touch though. That 9.99 could be 2 cans of tuna and a bag of rice. Their policies need to start reflecting the situation on the ground. Don't give room for the inevitable how I guh afford that too arguments to go on for 5 days. then come out and say what everyone freaking out for.... just get the initial statemdnt right...as right as possible any way

This is stupid again. How can a person who does not have a mask at home get one if we are locked down for the next 5 days and what happens when they go out (without one) to get one when the lockdown is lifted?

It will be attractive.

I believe its already been stated that you can wear any homemade mask, scarf etc, so long as your nose and mouth is covered... asking if your daddy - i mean the government - gonna give you a mask. You online everyday criticising everything everyday and you can't get a mask or one scarf to tie round your mouth.

You really need to open your eyes and try seeing beyond tomorrow. Doing so might enable you to help steer directionless Minnis in the right direction. And he's desperately in need of your frank and sound advice as opposed to your undying loyalty and usual kiss arse agreement with any and everything he does.
A strong leader is expected to inspire confidence, instill calm and provide words of encouragement to the public at a time of crisis. You seem to think it's the other way around in the case of Minnis. Hopefully the Doc really doesn't need you as a crutch. If he does, we're all in serious trouble and right now the public is having great difficulty in believing the steps and measures taken to date have been carefully thought though to avoid unintended consequences.
