Is this 'better late than never' excercise meant to instill confidence in our beleaguered Health Ministry and its leader?

Six weeks too late!

Government has failed everyone in The Bahamas by not having testing in place.

They had the examples of Germany, Israel and Iceland to follow.

Lockdowns are useless without testing.

Actually 10 weeks too late! These government clowns are simply going through the motions for consumption by gullible D- educated persons that now make up the majority of our population.

Probably a result of the recent positive findings at PMH.
It's not a case of being 6 weeks too late !! Like someone else keeps posting here, just because you test negative once, doesn't mean you can't get it the next day, so testing them 6 weeks ago would be meaningless. You would be testing everyone, every single day for however long this outbreak lasts for. It's just not feasible to do!!. Testing when there is a possibility of transmission is the better approach. You guys need to wrap your heads around that, and start thinking logically.

Testing was always intended to identify and try prevent mushrooming of infections in hotspots through contact tracing aimed at taking as many actual spreaders and exposed potential spreaders as possible out of the population, i.e. quarantine them. But what might have worked to contain the spread 10+ weeks ago will not work today, mainly because of the additional spread promoted by Minnis's lame-brain orders that created long lines everywhere, e.g. the panic buying at food stores.

With every comrade **Individual** added to the government's official death count means there was more the government could've done.
