EDITOR, The Tribune
THE Tribune is The Bahamas’ most courageous newspaper. The prestigious daily dares to break stories that no other newspaper would even dare to touch with a ten foot pole. Indeed, neither The Nassau Guardian nor The Bahama Journal would’ve covered the riveting story about a certain flamboyant socialite with deep pockets. Granted, The Punch has also had its fair share of breaking stories. But its reporters hide behind the cloak of anonymity. Not so with The Tribune, whose reporters’ names are published above their articles, which exposes them to scrutiny if their stories shed light on an embarrassing situation.
The Tribune even went further with a sobering editorial on the same disturbing incident mentioned above – an alleged incident that only serves to underscore the depth of corruption in our Third World jurisdiction. On the day before the publishing of the foregoing story, The Tribune published two or three articles and an editorial on the tragic death of Ericka Fowler, a former employee – further proof that the newspaper is continuing the tradition of Etienne Dupuch and Eileen Dupuch Carron in standing up for the underdog.
With our political climate becoming increasingly dangerous with radical political operatives threatening journalists who are simply doing their job, The Tribune and its courageous staff are the bulwark of the Bahamian democracy.

I think this was sent to the comics section.
Isn't most of what Mr. Evans writes a bit jokey?
