Destroy the murderous pitbulls and lockup their owner/handler for at least 2 years assuming the woman lives. If the woman dies or is permanently mamed, lockup the owner/handler for an additional 5 years, i.e. minimum prison time of 7 years.

Why does the average Bahamian allowed to have a hybrid killer pitbull?? ….. this species is mostly banned in First World countries to private homeowners.

Better option and less expensive to taxpayers is to lock up pitbulls in cage until they are hungry and then throw the owner in and dogs desire to survive will eat him....and then if owner not eaten and saved then some other channel followed.

We can only wish this better option was available.

Maybe the owner just likes pit bulls? They seem to be something like a status symbol for young men. Unless he had a habit of baiting the dogs every time the woman went to her car...it's a really bad (horrific) accident, he shouldn't be locked up for that. At most he should get fined for not securing them properly and responsibility of medical bills. I guess the dogs have to be put down.

It is terrible what happened to the individual, but please stop blaming the dogs. It isn't the dog's fault.in America , they are adopted all the time. How can a dog that was involved in fights be rehabilitated and adopted in America? What next, do we destroy all cars because humans drive drunk and kill people? Do we destroy all knives because people stab and kill individuals? Do we destroy all medicines because some abuse their use?Be rational and remove emotions from the equation.
