Other appointments to Queen’s Counsel are Robert Adams; Raynard Rigby, Obie Ferguson; Lief Farquharson; Timothy A Eneas; Carlson H Shurland; and Khalil Parker.

“This honour, the highest in the legal profession, is bestowed in recognition of their long years of esteemed counsel and service in the administration of justice in our country,” Mr Davis, QC, said.

The PM left his most ardent and loyal bun butterer off his QC list.
How could he could appoint stooges like Rigby and Ferguson and forget about his “boy” Bodie? Reinstatement at the very least for the countless anointments faithfully applied.

If you haven't been appointed a QC after being a lawyer in this country for , say16 years then ,obviously have never contributed much to a ruling political party. A one time honor now greatly debased.

Completely baffled by the omicron response. Last year the G7 went the wrong way with delta and everyone else played pied pier. Today, everybody going into full scale panic over "infection counts". But the evidence has shown a very mild response to Omicron. Why the hype? Wheres the hospitalization and death counts to support the alarm bells? Because In the delta spike, infection counts were almost ignored as the real threat was evident. People dying and hospitals overwhelmed. Now it almost feels like we're trying to create a state of emergency by manufacturing a crisis. This seems wrong all around. Omicron infection count has not translated to an increase in deaths...so far... dont light the signal fire yet. If hospitalizations start creeping up light the barn

A great honour for those appointed by The Queen to be Her Majesty's counsel. We can hope that they will be loyal to The Crown in all their undertakings.

The PM is just doling out these 'gifts' to his people, travelling, and whining about the FNM.
The country is wide open, cases are rising, people are gathering without masks or protocols all over the place, and he's giving out favours out like a modern day Santa Claus gone giddy with spending money.

Political patronage is alive and well in today's Bahamas.

This honour is supposed to go to individuals who are litgators and have fought, and won, cases in complex legal matters.

**Congratulations to Robert Adams who has clearly earned the title of Q.C.**

More than a couple in there that debase the Honor.
Ironic that they still want the Queens Honors and not the Bahamian honors meant to replace them.
