I'm not too familiar with the off-shore banking business, but I do know it has been in decline for a while now, and I'm pretty certain it can't be attributed just to the political party of a sitting American President, since off-shore banking has global clients, not just US. I'm not sure why off-shore banking is in decline, but my guess is it has something to do with tighter international financial regulations in an attempt to stem the flow of drug money being laundered, funding of terrorism etc. - this assumption is based on my personal experience in dealing with off-shore banks that I have accounts with, who now want so much personal info from me.

This article is TRASH. If taxes get raised, Biden said it would be on households that make $400,000 or higher in income. Based on that, over 95% of the households won't have their taxes raised. Also, if you are lucky enough to fall within the "over $400,000 income group" having your taxes raised won't have any effect on your living standard or goals. You will still be able to go out and buy a piece of real estate in the Bahamas (if you so desire).

Now with that said, by far the biggest threat would be the Covid virus and it's effect on the overall global economy. That is a much larger threat than the prospect of slightly higher taxes on the ultra-wealthy.
