GRAND Bahama Police discovered illegal drugs, firearms and ammunition at an abandoned building in the Freeport area this week.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Stephen Rolle reported that police conducted Operation Full Throttle on Tuesday.
He reported that a team of officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit, acting on information, went to Murchison Drive shortly after 5pm where they searched an abandon dilapidated building.
He said officers found one black .380 Bersa Pistol with a magazine and one live round of .380 ammunition. They also found three compressed wrapped packages of suspected marijuana, weighing 1.56lbs, with an estimated street valued at $1,500.
No arrest was made, and investigations are continuing in the matter.
