PM flies to Barbados

PRIME Minister and Minister of Finance Philip “Brave” Davis left the country yesterday to travel to Barbados to observe that nation’s transition to a republic.

He will return to the country on Friday.

Minister of Education Glenys Hanna Martin will act as Prime Minister in his absence.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments and Aviation Chester Cooper and his wife Cecilia Cooper departed Nassau for Zurich on Sunday. They were accompanied by MOTIA Executive Director Dr Kenneth Romer and aide Sgt Kevin Duncombe.
