A 46-year-old man was on Friday remanded to prison accused of indecently assaulting a woman 20 years his junior.

Albert Pierre was arrested after he allegedly grabbed a 26-year-old woman’s breast while she was walking on September 22.

He was not required to enter a plea when he appeared before Magistrate Kara Turnquest Deveaux and his case was adjourned to December 9 for service of a voluntary bill of indictment.

In the meantime, Pierre was denied bail and remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.

He has a right to apply to the Supreme Court for bail.
