THE Ministry of Health and Wellness’ social mobilisation unit will set out for a third weekend on a walkabout in key communities to offer on-the-spot vaccinations and educational resources to its residents.
“In December 2021, a COVID-19 vaccination social mobilisation campaign team was assembled to mobilise unvaccinated communities to become immunised against COVID-19,” said Cheryl Thompson, social mobilisation programme coordinator in a press release issued on Friday. “We’re excited to meet one-on-one with residents to share information, address questions and provide a convenient way for persons to get their first, second or booster shots.”
This weekend, walkabouts will take place in the Mother Butler Park, Meadow Street, Bain’s Town and Yellow Elder Park, Yellow Elder Gardens from 4pm on Friday and on Saturday morning. The walkabouts will be followed by educational sessions and vaccination services.
A mobile unit will be stationed at the Mother Butler site and will offer walk-up vaccinations on Saturday from 1pm - 5pm.
"This is something I had expressed I wanted to see in Bain's and Grant's Town," said Wayde Watson, member of Parliament for Bain's Town & Grant's Town and deputy national coordinator for information technology. "I'm so glad it’s coming and I encourage people to show up, to take advantage of this pop-up."
To date over 150,000 Bahamians and residents have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Parts if Germany went as far as only allowing the vaccinated to shop but now they are saying all restrictions will be over in March. Seems most of the world is drifting back to old normal with the exceptions of Canada and Australia.

TORONTO — A rapidly growing list of Canadian provinces moved to lift their COVID-19 restrictions as protesters decrying such measures kept up the pressure with truck blockades Wednesday in the capital and at key U.S. border crossings, including the economically vital bridge to Detroit.
Alberta, Saskatchewan, Quebec and Prince Edward Island announced plans this week to roll back some or all precautions, with Alberta, Canada’s most conservative province, dropping its vaccine passport for places such as restaurants immediately and getting rid of masks at the end of the month.

First of all, WHAT are they vaccinating against? The science and data show that the Omicron strains are resistant to ALL VACCINES!!! ALL! And the experts in South Africa suggests that getting vaccinated or taking booster shots after recovering from Omicron INCREASES your chances of being reinfected. In fact they suggested easing vaccinations and only allowing high risk or highly exposed persons to get vaccinated. This, they say, is to avoid more mutations and more highly resistant variants. Notice how they quietly stop saying how many vaccinated people were infected or how many were hospitalized or even died from the virus. Johnson and Johnson will soon stop manufacturing Covid vaccines because it claims the demand for them is dwindling.

Walking around "vaccinating" people with some kinda ting that the manufacturers have said they will need 75 years to release all the data on how they designed it. I guess under the law, stupidity is simply a requirement.

Appreciate your comment, but NO. They are saying they need that long to release the data that they actually have in hand right now. They could simply hand it over - but they won't.
