A CAR went up in flames on Munnings Road on Saturday - but the occupants were uninjured in the incident.

The vehicle was being driven along the road when the driver noticed smoke coming from the engine.

After the vehicle was parked and the occupants exited it, the fire began. The incident took place at 2.26pm.

Fire services responded to extinguish the blaze.
