A FEMALE Atlantis worker was stabbed as she worked yesterday by a fellow employee. The attack took place as the restaurant was open and serving guests.
Shortly before 9am, the 28-year-old woman was stabbed by a male worker – police said that the male employee “got into a physical altercation” with the woman which resulted in her being stabbed.
The Tribune understands the incident took place at Poseidon’s Table at Atlantis.
After the attack, the victim was taken to hospital where she was treated and discharged.
Police said the alleged attacker, a 27-year-old man, is currently in custody and assisting police with their investigation.
The police said an investigation is continuing – although the incident was not included in yesterday’s crime reports, with a release sent this morning after The Tribune made inquries last night about the incident.
Various online reports circulated about the attack, with conflicting details, in the meantime.
The Tribune understands the attacker was held down until security arrived while guests were evacuated.
There was no comment from Atlantis about the attack, which reportedly took place as the restaurant was serving customers. It was reported that the restaurant closed temporarily after the attack.

Atlantis does not Wendy's to keep the place upper class.
But it happened at the Poseidon, where they serve Grey Poupon.

Yes, such first class restaurants and employees, right? <br/> I hope they see negative things that happen there have nothing to do with Wendys!

The over the hill crew need jobs. They were not taught respect for others, they show up late to work, and the list goes on. Employers have to train students whom have leaving certificates. Wr are in a bad place because we have ignored the ways of our grandparents. They taught us respect for oneself and others. This crew is "let me fix ya".
