POLICE are investigating a stabbing incident that left a teenage boy in hospital yesterday.

According to police reports, sometime around 4.19pm yesterday, the student was involved in a fight with another student near a bus stop on Marathon Road when another male intervened, produced a knife and stabbed him in his leg and lower back.

The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition.

Investigations are continuing.
