A MAN was granted bail after being accused of stealing a motorcycle in New Providence over the summer.
Senior Magistrate Kendra Kelly arraigned Alridge Sturrup on charges of theft and receiving.
Sturrup allegedly stole a Yamaha motorbike valued at $2,370 between August 1 and 31.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge, and his bail was set at $2,000 with one or two sureties.
As part of his bail conditions, Sturrup must report to the Carmichael Road Police Station on the first Monday of each month.
His trial is scheduled to begin on November 7, with Sergeant Vernon Pyfrom serving as the prosecutor.
