THREE men who went missing at sea earlier this week are safe after being rescued near New Providence.

Police said the men set out from Governor’s Harbour, Eleuthera, in a 21ft blue and white Abaco Skiff bound for New Providence on Monday but ran into engine trouble along the way.

They managed to contact relatives on Eleuthera for help.

The Royal Bahamas Defence Force, aided by a volunteer, tracked them down and found them in good health. They were safely brought back to Potter’s Cay Dock.
