Congressional Black Caucus visits OPM

Prime Minister Philip Davis, Minister of Energy and Transport JoBeth Coleby-Davis and Ambassador to the United States Wendell Jones welcomed members of the Congressional Black Caucus to The Bahamas for discussions on strengthening U.S.-Caribbean relations at the Office of The Prime Minister on Monday.

US representatives included: Yvette Clarke, Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) along with Congresswoman Joyce Beatty, Congresswoman Robin Kelly, Congresswoman Val Demings, and Congresswoman Terri Sewell.

The Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), comprising four U.S. Senators and 54 House Representatives, advocates for policies benefiting African Americans and people of African descent.

The CBC has long pushed for a U.S. Ambassador to The Bahamas, with the Trump administration nominating Herschel Walker for the role.

Discussions during the meeting centered on strengthening U.S.-Caribbean relations.

Empiricist says...

President Trump has declared this group as illegal and a DEI initiative. The PLP need to be careful and follow the Recent Executive Orders of President Trump or face the isolation and annexation of our nation.
